In our last shortcast, we looked at gratitude, the simple act of being thankful for what has passed during the day. In this show, we explore the practice of savouring—a process of heightened awareness where we slow down and give all our attention to the moment.

The point of savouring is to appreciate moments of magic and wonder during the day. It is about creating opportunities that give us reason to be grateful later.

We are biologically programmed to look for problems, crises, or threats to our existence. To the point where we will pass by the beauty and wonder of the ordinary.
